Three sizes, chosen so that every one maps to a standard frame format — no custom framing needed. Here’s what they are, what they fit, and how high to hang them.
The three sizes
| Size | In inches | Standard frame | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 × 40 cm | ≈ 11.8 × 15.7″ | 12 × 16″ | Shelves, desks, hallway clusters, small walls |
| 50 × 70 cm | ≈ 19.7 × 27.6″ | 20 × 28″ | Above sideboards, dressers, reading chairs |
| 61 × 91 cm | ≈ 24 × 36″ | 24 × 36″ | Statement walls, above sofas and beds |
All unframed prints include a white paper border around the artwork, so they sit beautifully in a frame with or without a mat.
How high to hang
- The gallery rule: the centre of the artwork at 145–152 cm (57–60″) from the floor — average eye level. When in doubt, use it.
- Above furniture: leave 15–25 cm (6–10″) between the furniture top and the bottom of the frame, even if that breaks the eye-level rule.
- Above a sofa or bed: the artwork (or set) should span roughly two-thirds of the furniture’s width — that’s why our largest size is 61 × 91 cm.
Hanging pairs & gallery-wall sets
- Keep 5–8 cm (2–3″) between frames — close enough to read as one piece, far enough to breathe.
- For rows, align the centres, not the tops — mixed sizes will still read level.
- Every Gallery Wall Set ships with a hanging layout card showing the arrangement it was curated for.
- Lay the arrangement on the floor first. Move paper, not nail holes.
